Scores for Daily Living is a performative workshop rehearsal to practice peripheral vision, aesthesis, and interconnection through the deliberate direction of our intentions. We will secure our tethers in order to propel purpose to the furthest degree, to sense the borders of our reach and caress the boundaries. Rehearsing these newly acquired skills, we will explore the kinesthetic intelligence of our collective aims, and practice the benefits of improvisation and adaptability as tools to keep afloat in precarious times. Through a vigorous and critical analysis of the role that dynamism plays in communication – this event will aim to illustrate that friction is productive when the malleability of our boundaries are respected. Exercises may include: Gi Gong meditation, shivering anchors, soft head banging, Baroque Ba Gua push hands with ghosts, sweeping, as well as voice and movement techniques.
